I would really like to see it not come to bloodshed, but it doesn't seem like much of a choice anymore.
since we are dealing with an idiocracy on both sides of the political spectrum, the only hope (to my mind) of any successful resistance that's illegal is to have widespread support at least on the right. right now that doesn't exist. so it may be necessary for things to get officially worse (maybe way worse), like with transgenders and riots and police-defundings and gun control and speech censorship and neverending covid lockdowns, etc. etc., before enough people wake up enough to things being bad enough to be willing to support mass civil disobedience instead of being brainwashed by mainstream media.
there's a massive collective denial going on, on both sides, because waking up to how terrifying things are is so painfully disturbing that nobody wants to do it - at least not people who can still cling to some semblance of a normal/mainstream life.
so intervening on that denial is a delicate process. do it too soon or too aggressively and the propaganda will make the interventionist into the enemy and seem to be the source of the trouble. the idiocracy sheep will eat that up because it'll allow them to cling to the comfort zone with a handy scapegoat.
that's really a nightmare i'm describing, but we've been so spiritually apathetic for so long (i don't mean religious, but genuinely spiritual) that we're dealing with a nightmarishly fucked up idiocracy.
"hard times create strong men who create good times which create weak men who create hard times". times have been so amazingly good for the lives of everyone alive right now (no wars, depressions, famines, etc.) that no spiritual character/mettle has been built and thusly it's currently a society of 'weak men' who are now in the process of 'creating hard times'.
there's just no quick-fix for that, as i see it. the chickens are coming home to roost.
kicking off a 'boog' right now will cause those 'weak men' to cling to the 'good times' with a weak-in-spirit evaluation of reality which will be that those boog'ing are the bad-guys.
