You can do as you please but don't act like you're smart or making some kind of stand when you're voluntarily ceding ground to the enemy before they have even challenged you for it. Calling other people who aren't afraid to actually own an AR-15 or some other similar weapons and resist government efforts to restrict them do nothing internet whiners while self restricting what firearms you own so as not to "accidentally become a criminal."
