It seems like it's because people have an optimism bias that believes these things really wouldn't happen, here they happen elsewhere. People don't want to believe that their health authorities would lie to them, nor can they wrap their minds around the fact that an election could be manipulated and stolen. In many regards life is happier in this ignorance than dealing with the realities about our situation and modern conveniences provide this distraction, until they're taken away.
Good question. But given the fact there is constant pressure from media, institution and the reality that you have exactly 0% chance of dying from this if you are remotely healthy. They gave in.
They decided it wasn't worth the future hassle to not get jabbed by a useless vaccine.
If you're young and remotely healthy there is minimal chance of death or debility. That's why these people should not get the vaccine. That's why you can't even get the vaccine right now unless you're really old or a healthcare worker.
Are they "giving in" and doing something they don't want to do? Or did they make an informed decision and making an individual choice?
