Child Support is one of the most evil things in society. The government does not "need to intervene" to make someone take care of their kids. The government purposefully wedges itself between the father and his family. I know many many many fathers who their wife divorced them, took the kids, and forced him into child support payments by the state. The fathers had no choice whatsoever. The fathers went from being responsible for their kids 24/7 to being nothing more than a monthly paycheck and a visitor 4 days a month if they are lucky.
Do not let them continue to spread this false narrative that "child support" is a good thing because it forces "dead beat dads" to pay their fair share. That is a complete lie based on propaganda. "Child support" is a 30 billion dollar a year racket where the state financially incentivises removing the father from the home. "Child support" is evil.
So much truth. I’m a dad with full custody. Haven’t heard from mom in years. I don’t have entire government agencies chasing her down for support. I bet she’s on the dole even.
Same. Only just got started tho. Papers will be final soon. Going on 3+ years now with about 90%. Got cancer last year, destroyed it, she stole our son and it set me back about 10k in lawyer fees across two states. Court ordered 100% reimbursement of legal fees and retroactive child support that so far adds up to 7k (so now she's nearing 20k total). I don't expect shit from stupid dead beat ass.
Mine was across three states. The system is bad enough as it is but interstate family law is almost useless. States flat out ignore out of state orders.
