So please explain why the GF family received a 27 million dollar wrongful death lawsuit when Derek Chauvin has not even went to court yet to determine if the death was even wrongful or not!

Shouldn't the court trial proceed, and IF he is found guilty (which I don't think he is) then the family has a legitimate lawsuit. I don't fucking get it man.
