I agree with everything except that humans are animals. We are not animals. We can behave like them if we do not embrace our higher calling.

We've forgotten that we are meant to rise above the animals. Humans have souls.

Friendly_b, It's clear that you haven't watched one segment of BET. Thus said, a Nicki Minaj thunder-pussy-ass-clap video muss be an unfathomable reach.

We all need to embrace our higher calling though. That's implicit.

Leftists use vehicles like BET to keep minorities resentful and manipulated. To keep them on the Democratic plantation. Resentment is the number one killer of our souls, it makes our minds unable to process logic and reason and cuts us off from the higher power we need to rise above instincts.

It's the very struggle of humanity.

It see mankind as an animal means he is driven primarily by his instinctual desires. All thought and profound meaning someone may abstract out of their life means nothing if we are worth nothing more than a piglet or chimp, if we really are just animals. I hate this view that we are animals. In a world where it's easier to lie, and most people do it instinctively, then why be honest? Because mankind sees usefulness beyond his animal instincts and inherently pursues what he believes is meaningful to his existence.

Yes I agree. We are rational beings capable of meditation, concentration, goal-setting, and abstract thought outside the boundaries of our instincts. We do not have to make choices based on instinctual senses and when we do things tend not to go well for us.

But can understand that some people can give into those instincts and become closer to an animal, or more so less human by disregarding what makes us human. And some who act horrifically, become monsters - subhuman.

Yes. We're not always submitting to our higher calling. Being civilized requires submission to civilized behavior.
