These leftist protests are state-sponsored and corporate-endorsed. Citizens killing citizens, destruction of small businesses -- these things do not threaten institutional power, they embolden it. Note that the proposed "solutions" to all BLM "grievances" are to pass more laws, raise taxes, increase censorship, indoctrinate children, and strip away rights from the citizenry. The elites love this shit, and the protesters essentially function as their shock troops.
