I used to think the red parts were pretty Conservative still. Lived out in a small town near the farmers. Really nice people and great neighborhood of kids playing outside and good families. When Covid hit I saw The whole area jump into War Time production mode for America and it was a proud moment.

But when Government came in and shut everything down, fire half the workforce, mandate masks, abandon the nurses and their families, and kill the elderly all those Conservatives acted like it was just how life goes and I needed to get with the program.... Sold my house as soon as I possibly could and never stepping foot in a blue ever again. They may not vote Democrat, but they aren't Conservatives.
