The only problem with this is that states are often dependant on federal funds, and so the feds can basically hold governors hostage by threatening to withhold money. They would LOVE to send red states to the poor house.
Red states need to seperate, stengthen themselves, & form a free/prosperous/well defended society that can surpass and defend itself from the leftist cancer.
