Yes Imperialism. Paying to be the biggest military and keeping the others down allows you to keep control over them without conflict. And it is with your consent. Not your personal consent sure but the people who are voting and electing government positions. Placing your military in forever positions across the world is flexing your dominance of power

Elites of all nations benefit from this system.. hence they put big money to keep it rigged and to keep our political dynasties in power.
