Youre right about hell and eternity but you will be judged according to your deeds, that’s non negotiable. The Bible also appears to indicate a different type of severity, say for example those who hear the gospel in this life and reject it will have a harder time in hell.

Matthew 23:14 “”How terrible it will be for you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You devour widows’ houses and say long prayers to cover it up. Therefore, you will receive greater condemnation!

Luke 10:14-15 But it will be more bearable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades.

James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more severely than others.

Revelation 20:12-15 I saw the dead, both important and unimportant people, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened, including the Book of Life. The dead were judged on the basis of what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead. Death and hell gave up their dead. People were judged based on what they had done. Death and hell were thrown into the fiery lake. (The fiery lake is the second death.) Those whose names were not found in the Book of Life were thrown into the fiery lake.

The number and types of deeds which people do are completely moot.

You can take the Lord's name in vane, or you can murder a billion people in cold blood, eternity in hell is the same sentence, There are no degrees of punishment.

Therefore, the ONLY action that matters is whether or not someone is saved.

Those who are not saved will only be punished for not being saved, as it is the only sin relative to where they spend eternity. outside of that eternity in hell is still eternity in hell.

If they are condemned to hell, nothing they have done to you or anyone else will be punished, because they cannot be punished more than they will be punished for not believing.

From the mortal side, it's like trying to take comfort in that someone has a sentence of 3 months in jail for theft added to their sentence of execution.

edit: I want also to make it clear that I am not contradicting the scriptures. What is said there will happen, I just personally see it as pointless.
