They're not even really sacrificing him or throwing him under the bus... the accusations are the weakest sexual harassment claims ever. "He flirted with me at work", "he kissed me at a wedding", "he held my hand and waist too long while we were getting our picture taken".
This shit doesn't even merit a 2 hour work place sensitivity course. He's not going to lose his fortune, it's not even enough to make him lose his job... but he can "take one for the team", pretend to kick and scream a little as he gets to retire with all his wealth and everyone just forgets all about the deliberate, nationwide genocide of nursing home patients at the hands of the DNC.
The worst part is... it's working. All the outrage is focused on office flirting.
