But if NK and SK were able to come to an agreement over a governmental style similar to Japan where the Kim family is installed as something resembling powerless monarchs, responsible only for the cultural welfare of the citizens it would ease the burden of integration, assuage the fears NK have of being westernized, and stop the Kim family's need to use violent shows of force to maintain their grip on power.
I understand this is a radical view but the seeds are there and the pathway is laid out by history. Trump could have ushered in another era of peace.
