Yes a rule they impossed on themsleves years back that takes a 2/3 majority or maybe just 60 to change or alter the filibuster..... Just google it.. In my state Dems running for gov in 2021 are already running on doing gun control because they know the federal level will fail.. I am not sure why everyone on the right or left keeps forgetting this, remember the "affordable" care act got a 60 to 39 vote, its why Dems want that 60 senate majority again so badly like they had in 2008 to 2010..
True the dems had a super majority... this "assault weapon" ban wont pass, i dont think any gun bills will pass for now. and i think its a simple majority thats why they have been putting so much pressure on joe manchin but to this point he has said he wants to keep the filibuster. what state are you in?
