There also is power in the one of the good churches still around, as one can gather and coordinate without being labeled terrorists, yet. And when they do label pastors of congregations well known in their communities as terrorist leaders, there are still many who will not buy into the brainwashing, perhaps enough to carve out enclaves of sanity.
I suspect they will march on such enclaves like they did during the genocides of the French Revolution, but at least those communities died fighting evil together.
