The Democratic Party hatched a scheme to further shore up the black bloc vote by suing lending banks on false charges of systemic racism because blacks under qualified for loans.
Once the bad loans were mandated (they became the "Liars Loans") they were the major feeding mechanism for the subprime derivatives market. The rest is history.
