Places are banning plastic bags many repurpose as trash bags, yet allow single-use packaging which makes up most of the trash I see on the street.

They then force consumers to purchase, via taxes placed on commercial businesses, paper bags which are rarely recycled despite our intentions (most go to landfills).

The option is to carry huge plastic burlap-like reusable sacks with you in case you decide to patronize a store.

The Amazon has become problematic and something we should have a conversation about.
