"Embracing black culture" is quite literally the thing they told black people to do after they destroyed the black community, black business and black family structure and let a new "culture" of ebonics, anti-education, glorified sex/violence and flashy materialism take over. They taught them in schools and colleges to embrace their own destruction and love it like it was a virtue.

Also, fuck spellcheck for wanting to capitalize ebonics. It doesn't deserve it.

AWWW....... So sorry for your pain! It must really suck to be so concerned with your baby's hair texture and skin color.

But only white people are racists-- let's all remember that!

Wonder if she’d be complaining about the babiy’s skin color if it was missing limbs or face parts.

Why can she just be. And, let the child, be. Just be.

It's almost as if some crazy women invent reasons to whine and bitch and you can't pay attention to them when they do. This psycho lady hates her daughter, because of the color of her skin.

Or she could just love her daughter :) I came out way lighter than my dad, but that didn’t give him an identity crisis.

Not judging your child by their skin color - maybe? Just love them for who they are, is that so hard to understand.

I’ve only talked with two black women about the whole “my hair my crown” thing. Both of them said they felt like their hair was always being compared to white people’s hair. I asked what made them think that & again, both said that growing up, black mothers, aunts, grandmothers, & friends all teased the girls for their “nappy hair”. No matter how many times they said it was black women, not white people, who made them feel insecure about their hair, they still blamed it on feeling like they were always being compared to white women. The mom in this article is going to put her irrational insecurities on her daughter & that hurtful cycle will unnecessarily continue.

Wait a minute. Black skin color is a dominant gene... I think this woman may have gotten cucked.

It’s more complicated than that: multiple genes and enhancer element interactions.

But yeah, her head has been cucked.

Neo-racism is rooted in the idea one needs to embrace their color, resulting in a mindset that causes one to value their color above all else. So instead of externalized like hating other colors it becomes internalized but the end result is the same.
