The right, for instance, looks at causation to determine whether or not Floyd was murdered. The left however, seems to care more about correlation. Floyd died with a knee on or near his neck, therefore murder. Autopsy results be damned. Sometimes the logic seems almost akin to the killing someone on hospice, with only minutes left to otherwise live. Sure, they were a dead man walking, but the stress you put on them made it ever so slightly faster, therefore murder. It can feel a pretty strange way of thinking if you’re not already well accustomed to it.
