yuri is sadly more correct than i imagined. it really is too late for a lot of these people. i have shown people the full video and toxicology report from the fentanyl floyd incident and they don’t even bother to incorporate the new data. they create their own reasons for disbelieving what they just saw. the day of their rude awakening seems closer and maybe inevitable. they will experience a terrible realization and it will be too late. i will pity them on this day but i will have zero sympathy.

In modern Russia, they still have nostalgia for Stalin. People still bring flowers to his grave. It's not just a few people either, some number over 50% think of him favorably. Even if the number is exaggerated on purpose, the real number is likely similar to how Biden didn't legitimately win, but still millions of people hate Trump and voted for the senile guy to oppose him.

You know what Stalin did. You know how many people should support him. Zero.

For many people, "terrible realizations" never come. They just continue to live in delusion.

that is a fair point. my wife has family in a 3rd world country. a large segment of the population there continues to harbor fond feeling for a long disgraced leader. i guess these people never felt the boot of oppression long enough to determine who it belonged to or they are ‘lucky’ enough to stay ignorant.

It's more that they know the boot so well, it's all they have known and will ever know, that a slightly better and more attractive boot is something noteworthy. People in 3rd world countries are fucked.
