Most are probably doing what grunts do. Standing around, twiddling thumbs and bitching about how retarded this all is. Oddly enough, I imagine most would simply standby rather than bother to make a white knight show for the Dems. Theyre catching a lot of hate for not doing a coup. The fact dems couldnt use them against trump bodes well. The fact they are mostly staying out of it at this point also bodes well (if anyone gets frisky it should be the people, not some idiot second looey and his merry band of dirt bad privates)

The real oath test isnt whether or not the government can get them to stand around part of the day and sleep in a parking lot for the rest. The real test is whether the gov can actually use them against us. So far I see no indication of loyalty or enthusiasm for the dems on that level. (Corrupt generals only have so much pull with disgruntled part time grunts who are ready to go home and get back to their full time lives) Guard benefits and career prospects aren't that great, even for tools. I could imagine them stepping aside quite willingly especially after the way they've been treated recently.
