I’m not one to complain about this sort of thing, but so have I lately. Slow content month I guess. I don’t have much room to complain though, I ain’t exactly the greatest meme creator, but I do love sifting through the comment section especially on posts where the comments seemingly have little to do with the post or the post just goes over my head.
I’ve posted killer memes, my own opinion lol. Ive posted a meme, created just that morning and it gets 84 upvotes. It will get stolen and reposted 6 hours later be stickied in 2 minutes and get 6000 upvotes.
Frustrating, for sure, but really, what’s it matter how much karma you have or upvotes? In the big picture, it is not worth anything really. If that is your meme getting reposted and then upvoted I think you should take pride in the fact that people did see it, liked it, and upvoted. If there were money on the line it would be one thing, but the points here really do not mean much overall.
Doesn’t matter to me today. It didn’t matter to me that evening. It did matter to me for 20 minutes after the stolen meme was stickied and receiving 1000s of upvotes. I don’t do this for upvotes I do it to subvert the perverted system that has become the American zeitgeist. That said it’s fun to see something I made racking up points and it seems wrong for a lazy person to benefit from it.
