If covid was serious, or even real and not just the flu or something, I'd get a vaccine. But only after years of clinical trials. Multiple independent studies done by many countries, Canada, Japan, most European ones, etc.

Japan has pretty strict requirements on drug safety requirements and testing for new drugs so I'd probably look at what they're doing. They're pretty nationalist and not at all interested in distributing a vaccine that hasn't been thoroughly tested.
