A white Nashville LEO was shot and is in stable condition after stopping a car belonging to someone who sounds like a twin to George Floyd. He wasn’t in the vehicle but an African American woman emerged from the driver’s side and ultimately ended up running from the officer .....

He tazed her, but she was only immobilized for a short period of time. After running and disobeying the officer’s request she shot and wounded him. He then discharged his weapon, fatally wounding her in the process. Down in the article is a link for body cam footage. I hope they don’t make this into another “George Floyd” reason for burning, looting and murdering.

I believe a police officer should be able to shoot when a suspect starts disobeying repeated orders. These suspects have no excuse and police officers shouldn’t have to stand by and wait to be shot first before they can fire their weapon. Suspects know this. That is why they run, whether on foot or by automobile, because they know no one will shoot at them.
