Wow, thanks for posting. Its helpful to read things like this, and they arent very common to see in my experience. I'm in a similar spot, raising my kids without their mom, but she left for other reasons. We havent seen her or talked much to her for almost 3yrs. At this point i think that will most likely continue.... I have 1 daughter and 3 sons. My daughter is 13 now, and the boys are 12, 16, and 17. Theyre all doing okay, and trying hard in school and sports, so mostly doing good.... But i worry about them. And the content shoved in theur faces by their shows and society in general doesnt help. Theyre trying to teach kids to have sympathy for the wrong things, and teaching them to hate the right things.... I feel like I'm countering moves everyday....

Anyway, I could go on quite a bit as your post was very relateable, but i probably shouldnt at the moment.
