Meh. Pace is too slow. As a native southside Chicagoan, I recognized his accent immediately. He is most likely Polish Catholic Chicagoan, they tend to be more socially conservative than Irish Catholics there, who push the social justice crap. If he's not a Chicagoan, then he is adopting the speech pattern for effect.
