Shit is broke though. We have worthless, garbage marketing types making more money from their CCP affiliated company than a 4 star general. It doesn't forgive them all for selling us out, but we didn't pay the people running our military enough as quadrupuling their pay and getting better people is still so much cheaper than all the garbage contracts and kickbacks they've received for worthless weapon systems.
I'm 1000% on board with taking better care of our military members, but the flipside is that they also signed up for it, so I have no sympathy or forgiveness for some jaded lifers selling out American lives and interests so they can wet their beaks. I do agree though, it would be a drop in the bucket to increase military pay compared to the obscene amount of waste and graft.
