Nothing entitles the Democrats to use race, gender and identity politics in general to cheat. This last election was a disaster and Democrats are now claiming they wish to continue this system (and in fact want the Federal government to control it) because far more people participated in the vote (they make mention of the "irregularities") but claim Republicans that are concerned with election integrity are trying to suppress the vote.

We are tired of being manipulated with identity politics (hence white privilege and white guilt). We want a fair playing field. Democrats have done everything they can to prevent a deep dive into the last election for a reason--they have never wanted to get to the truth. Bags of shredded votes all over (destruction of evidence). Even with a complete audit tomorrow, with the destruction of evidence, it would be difficult to get to the truth.

In the 1990's, Bill Clinton forced the banks to issue sub-prime loans by endlessly berating them calling them racist.

Banks didn't want to make high-risk loans in high-risk areas because their actuaries tell them the risk is too high.

But that wasn't good enough for Clinton, "banks are racist" he said. And so the banks were forced to make sub-prime loans.

In 2007 it all collapsed.

Welcome to round 2.

Absolutely. Clinton went as far as to say they needed to find creative ways to help the Black communities. When it all collapsed with the "creative" mortgages and the lowering of requirements in order to make the loans, Congress had all the banks appear in front of them and pointed fingers at the banks, saying they had been irresponsible and caused the collapse. I remember Jamie Dimon sitting in stony faced silence--I am sure he would have liked to give them a few choice words.

To compound the current problem, there are billions on dollars in the new Covid bill to forgive farmers' of color their farm loans.

This will not end well. You cannot have this level of inequality and expect everyone to swallow it.

Well, fortunately they seem to have learned from their mistake the first time.

Now, instead of the banks investing in blacks, it's the federal government.

That way the banks won't fail, it will be the..

hmm wait a minute, that can't be right

LOL. So sad.

It always cracks me up that politicians say they want housing more affordable for minorities yet these blue states have the highest property taxes because of government mismanagement.

I live in a blue state where the property tax rate is 6.925%. Property taxes end up higher than the interest on a mortgage so how is government telling banks to make property more affordable? There is no doubt that one has to consider property taxes in the monthly costs when buying a house.
