Just put 2 and 2 together to equal 4, not 5. Most and my friends and I have jumped off social media and especially Instagram. Instagram used to be fun when it first started up & we were in high school. In recent years it has become a huge validation machine for women... brings a whole new level for young women to compare themselves to other women. I remember in the last bit of still being on Instagram it became the norm for girls to be editing their own photos... Making the competition between women more psychologically destructive. It makes sense now that women are choosing to transition to escape their self-scrutiny with the added psychological weaponry of social media. No wonder bc the Hollywood overlords are telling young girls that coming out is 'stunning and brave'... this is all psychological fuckery afoot... our youth need help and social media is toxic as hell!! (I heard Tic-Toc is bad too.. I never got on but it's probably the same as Instagram pictures but now you have explicit dances...)
Storytime: I remember just 8 years ago in HS that girls would be hella embarrassed if their nudes got leaked and some dumbass was sending them around. The school would get involved and it was a huge deal. It was massively embarrassing to the girl. Nowadays it seems like girls are seemingly proud to be exposing themselves on social media and marketing their OnlyFans for the whole internet to see. I knew friends in college that openly told us about it in a bragging fashion. It's almost like bc they got paid to sell their images it validated their self-worth and made them confident - almost bragging to us thinking we would them as higher-value... when in fact, in a man's eyes that shit does the exact opposite. I guess it was a very eye-opening time to go through HS to firsthand experience the power of social media as it grew from being fun and innocent to the current days...
A little bit of a rant... but this shit is going SOUTH FAST - My friends and I have had the unique experience to see this as it happened. We talk about it and see through this. My life goal is to have a family (don't hear that anymore.. it's all about having that money and getting ass...) I can go on for hours about my takeaways..
As a 24 year old woman, can definitely say that social media is essentially a way for women to see who is highest in the pecking order. It feeds off biological instincts to compare yourself to others.
And yeah, a lot of my friends seem to be totally adverse to motherhood...
DAMN... MAKES SO MUCH SENSE...

Turns out the thing the left hates more than anything is a happy self reliant person with love in their heart, not hate.
Don't forget snapchat's beauty filters. Also, Samsung phones have beautification modifiers by default on their cameras.
