As a kid, I played with matchbox cars in the dirt with my brother, played whiffle ball, and climbed trees. I was given hand-me-downs from my older brothers and sister... I was tomboy leaning, wasn't crazy about 'playing house', would rather have a new puppy or kitten over a barbie doll. I was never labeled as anything... At the end of the day, I love being a woman. I love celebrating men. I appreciate gender differences and celebrate them. I also know as a Psychologist that the last thing chidren need when they experience trauma is to be brainwashed into thinking they're something they are not. Liberals are destroying children like this. Liberals are destroying children on so many levels... liberals are destroying an entire generation of children.

This sounds very much like my childhood. I spent most of it with my brother and his friends, doing all the "boy" stuff, including "sword fights" with sticks, chase games, and catching bugs and lizards and snakes. I played little league baseball on an otherwise all boys team. (Not out of any desire to push feminism or anything like that. I just thought baseball was fun and the only teams around were boys' teams.) I always loved science and math, and competed on math teams.

But I never imagined that I was a boy. I grew up into a feminine woman and had four kids. To this day, though, I prefer socializing with males. I'd rather play video games or watch movies where stuff blows up than talk fashion or watch a rom-com.

If I were growing up today and showing interest in all of those "boy" things, adults around me would be telling me I was a boy trapped in a girl's body and trying to get me to transition. And if I listened to them, and started in on the hormones before puberty, I'd be permanently sterilizing myself so that I could never have children.

It's ironic to me how the pro-transgender movement is rigidly reinforcing gender stereotypes that feminists had just spent decades trying to get out from under. Girls wear makeup and dresses. Girls like pink and play with dolls, etc, etc. Any girl that doesn't fit neatly into those stereotypes these days must actually be a boy who must be "helped" and "encouraged" to transition. Why can't people just accept that some girls like "boy" things and leave them alone to be who they are?
