No disrespect to anyone who has served, but fuck the Marines. Their dickhead recruiters tried to strongarm me into enlisting. They literally followed me to my car when I was trying to head home after class, blocked me from getting into my car, and then berated me for “not wanting to be a real man” and then insulted my late grandfather who was a sergeant in the army and fought in WWII by saying the army is for pussies and retards. Told them to get the fuck out of my way and reminded them I was bigger than both of them.
You could tell they could only be recruiters and never active duty. The “tough guy” recruiter was like 5’7” 250 pounds of flab, and the other guy was maybe 5’9” 150 pounds soaking wet. At the time I was like 6’ 215 pounds. Could’ve pummeled both of them if I had to, thankfully it didn’t go beyond a bit of shouting and insults.
