I think the roots of this back-stabbing turnaround within this modern time period date back to the 2017 torch march at Charlottesville (please read my post). How many people remember Charlottesville as an immigration protest against unchecked immigration and 'replacement voters'? No one.

Charlottesville marchers were shouting, "One people! One Nation! End immigration!" and "You will not replace us!". One People One Nation includes all Americans and the country which exists today, including Afamericans.

And how many just remember it as "just some racial thing" as it was smeared all over the news. Which wasn't actually racial in any way, not even the theme of the time which was about cancelling Conferderate statues...

The Capitol protest is being played as Charlettesville 2.0. Same playbook.

I'm glad you signed up to terrorize this thread.

If you were on a dating app trying to get with a woman with kids, you'd pick the username LittleKidLover, a la Michael Scott, and utterly fail to understand the backlash.

There are people out there who are so swooned over by their own cleverness that if they glimpsed 'LittleKidLover' on a dating site, the top of their head would blow off with self-congratulating slime spraying the walls. For having had the sumblime cleverness to spot any imaginary form of deviance. Deviance makes you hot and you cannot help but shout it out to others.

Sounds like you're one of them.

I grew up in a straight world where that name on a dating site would be perceived a normal and only slightly edgy way, as a man who is dating and who would welcome meeting someone with children because having a family is just as important as romance.

I might even choose that name to help with the sorting. Anyone who reacted like you gets tossed.

Will you ever realize you're not the normal one?
