Charlottesville marchers were shouting, "One people! One Nation! End immigration!" and "You will not replace us!". One People One Nation includes all Americans and the country which exists today, including Afamericans.
And how many just remember it as "just some racial thing" as it was smeared all over the news. Which wasn't actually racial in any way, not even the theme of the time which was about cancelling Conferderate statues...
The Capitol protest is being played as Charlettesville 2.0. Same playbook.

The fact is however that the vast majority of the people there were there to either protest for or against the removal of statues peacefully and dressed as the normal people they were. Spencer was there without his Hitler flags or costumes, and there were a few hyenas attacking the students gathered around the statue (since identified and convicted, one dismissed from the Marines), but the mass majority of the marchers were not involved in any violence or (laughable) Nazi chants. It was an immigration protest.
