Idk, every runner I've known including my FIL had to get new knees by a certain age, if you're lucky. If you're not, you're getting new knees and hips.
I keep hearing people say this, but I don't get it. I've been a runner/jogger for over thirty years and my knees are great, and I weigh almost 270 pounds. You'd think if anybody was blowing out they're knees it would be me. Meanwhile I know people in their 20s who have already blown out their knees. Maybe it's genetic, or they just run the wrong way.
Maybe it has something to do with what they're running on, pavement can be hard on your knees but a nice dirt trail is just fine. It also probably has a lot to do with lacking necessary nutrients while growing up.
yeah that's where "Jegging" comes in = "lurching side to side attempting to go faster than a normal gait while plates on display go crashing to the floor"

When joggers get that big they grow into riggers.
