842 *USA stopped almost all immigration between 1924 - 1965. The USA was overrun by immigrants with little education/skills/training to find work. Many refused to assimilate & learn English. Immigration was stopped to have time to educate & assimilate the immigrants into American citizens. TIME AGAIN ?
