It's long past time. Unfortunately, that time has passed and our government will only encourage and facilitate the inflow of "New Americans"/Replacement Voters until they bring about the literal End Of The Republic.

If President Trump was not able to cap immigration at a sustainable limit, it is not going to happen. Nobody in Washington with that level of power has our best interests in mind, certainly not in the way GEOTUS did. As a President not aligned with the DNC/RINO Elite, he was the best bet for those sort of America First policies that benefit Traditional Americans by making smart investments in the future of Our Nation.

With the DNC passing vote-tampering-and-fraud-friendly laws to ensure they remain in control permanently, the European-style migrant apocalypse is coming sooner than later. Even if a MAGA-minded politician were to ascend to a position of potential power, it is not likely that anyone in the future will be effective on immigration control, because they will not be able to withstand the MSM/DNC's shitstorm of slander and ridicule the way Trump handled it.
