It is not communism, it is necessity to provide for your own needs. Especially if you're going in the hole every month. It is though a time to reevaluate. You can do that. We can't. Until KY opens up we can not relocate our other 79 year old here.

Vaccination... not masking is where we had to draw the line.

My MIL is a failure to thrive since my brother died from alcoholism several months ago. She is bed bound and stuck out of state. Nothing I can do can stop the drain on her and our finances during this time.... except keep a toe hold in FL and work.

At the end of all... it is my responsibility to care for my spouse, my mom and my MIL. I eat the cost of nursing home care every month this shit continues to go on and KY doesn't open up. So excuse the fuck out of me if I don't empathize with someone like you.

Thank you. I apologize as well. It has been torturous to see what this has done to my MIL and spouse. If things don't change soon she could die in there. My wife is extremely worried, frustrated and depressed. Every time a visit has been arranged by appointment it has been canceled on arrival due to "covid". Last time I had to try to talk to my MIL through a closed window.

My spouse is stuck up here taking care of my mom full time.

But you're probably right, we'd hit it off Kansas. The pressure though has ripped through our family and the longer this goes on the worse it gets. Good luck to you.
