Yeah, I’ve seen your comments about this before. Medical doctors mostly follow orders, and it’s not in their career interest to question the authorities (truism).

Many are supposed to know about error variance, but very few really understand.

People want to believe in certainty!

as a non-medical science doctor, i can say that in my experience, very very few physicians understand actual science. that is, they wouldn’t be able to tell you what PCR actually is, or about other things that us lab scientists know intimately.
