It's a ratings thing. They need a new target now that Trump cut them off. Their ratings are sinking, yet again and they're in danger of AT&T shutting them down. Again. I know AT&T wants to sell CNN. I'd imagine that no one wants to take them on since they're a money pit. They've never made profit. So why would someone buy a news company that can't make a return on investment? They wouldn't. So that leaves AT&T with one option: Shut them down.
