Organize your family and friends. Make plans to respond to emergencies. Develop phone trees. Gather the essentials: flour, sugar, water, salt cooking fat/oil, ammo, etc. Get range time in weekly. Even if it's just your .22. Get in shape. Get right with Jesus.
i've done everything but the phone tree. that's a good idea. one thing about old phones is they work when power is off and can't be turned off as easily as digital.
