I was talking to someone the other day who was involved in the mobilization of the navy ship and field hospital to NYC last year. Was pretty illuminating.
Told him I speculated that Cuomo refused to use them because of the optics of accepting Trump’s help.
No.
He said it’s because shoving them into nursing homes meant Medicare money. Trump’s hospitals = no Medicare money.
