Oh please. Those Boomers are as culpable as anybody. Their generation took an amazing nation and ran it into a debt-ridden ditch in the space of five decades.
The difference is that the Boomer generation were given the opportunity to mortgage their country's future, and they took it with glee. Millennials will get no such chance to be so guilty, as there will be nothing left to sell.
Look at the reaction to the CARES Act and the recent "stimulus" passed. EVERYONE is clamoring for their gibs, Millennial, Boomers, Gen X, Zoomers. They're all the same and they all want free shit, damned be the consequences.
I'm not the guy you were responding to and I can only speak for myself and from my own experiences, but I am a millennial with boomer parents, and this gave me some pause in order to introspect.
I certainly have resented my parents a whole lot in life, and I still do, but I'm working on overcoming that, hopefully while they're still alive. But I gotta say they sure didn't make it easy on me. It's hard enough jumping over your own shadow and doing what in your heart you know to be right, but it's so much harder when they wouldn't even be an example of that.
Not sure if all boomers were like that, but my parents fought a lot about money when I was younger. But if I asked what was wrong they would never admit to anything — I only knew because they were shouting loudly in another room while I was in bed and supposed to be asleep.
I don't know what they had put in their tea back then, but there seems to have been a prevalent thought that childhood should be carefree and without any difficult choices, until one day you come of age and realize that life is full of them, and you're not prepared for any of them, because you never had the chance to practice.
Looking back, I would have been happy to make some sacrifices for them, if it had meant I would have actually had the opportunity to have them be themselves instead of carrying all my burdens for me, but for some reason, they would never accept that, until one day they started demanding it.
That always seemed entirely unfair to me. Why would they never listen? Seems like a whole lot of problems could have been avoided by that, but somehow their entire generation never seems to have learned that, and instead just went and did what they thought was best.
An old lower middle class/working poor Boomer here to tell you that "hippies"
were the 8% of the US boomer population born with a platinum spoon in their
ass and attending institutions of higher indoctrination in the late 1960s and early 1970s. There were a goodly amount of wannabes (camp followers), but hippies came from money and didn't need to work for a living. I joined the Marine Corps at age 17 in June of 1971 with a lottery draft number of 356. The Marines were the only branch of service that offered me a two year hitch. The others, four. And yes, these rich sanctimonious social justice warrior hippies precipitated the dystopia and dysfunctional generations that We the People suffer today.
At least there’s an Awakening for us ALL. Enuf of the generational division already!!! Us Boomers didn’t have Rush or ANYONE else but msm to lull us to sleep. The Illuminati/DS has been fuking everyone over for at least 150 years. I’m a war Veteran several times over and we THOUGHT we were fighting the good fight. Next the bashing will stretch back to General George Washington! So let’s all point a finger 👉🏼
Point that finger. Childish. Boomers, Millennials, Gen X or Z whatthefukever. We’re ALL victims of the sold-out system. Like any average-Joe’s here have any say in what these criminals have done?!! Grouping a whole generation as X, Y or Z as “all the same” or “all at fault” is ludicrous.
I remember the boomers clicking their tongues and gravely shaking their heads when they saw the “disaffected” Gen-Xers, while they busied themselves with their late in life millennial children still sucking their thumbs at the age of 8.
Oh how the best laid plans of mice and men go astray, boomers.
I can't believe there are people who didn't have the internet even in high school considered to be the same generation that logged on in grammar school.
We are paying for the sins of the generation that ran our society right into WW1 and greatly expanded the government in all the western Republic.
That generations started the centralize and crushing of private and individual industries and freedom, the slaughter a generation of ypung men for a pointless conflict
The Lost generation started pumping the public companies for fast money and it blow up in there face.
The " greatest" generation further expand the public sector and centralize of power while expanding entitlement
The Boomer slaughter the next generation with abortion and pump up the public sector further with get rich schemes of 401k and pensions which used our nation wealth to build up foreign countries especially China
Gen X that survived the slaughter has follow along like a lemming and what little wealth the accumulated have wasted on meaningless pieces or paper or consumeable goods
Lmao while that generation was fighting in 2 world wars your generation was dancing at some faggot hippy festival and holding hands for world peace. Bunch of degenerates again boomers blame everything except themselves.
Why not take a little responsibility? I wouldn't say any generation is innocent in this mess so why do you think your shit don't stink old man?
Id give some credit for having to fight in Nam but your faggot generation fucked that up and then spit on the troops as they came home like they piece of shit you are.
Because millennials are generally incapable of self responsibility. It’s the defining trait of the generation. They double down and blame “boomers” even though they have no idea what America was like 20 years ago.
One of the he first millenials here, since i was 17 weve answered the call fought terrorism in every shithole the old basterds sent us to, weve worked hard and started buisness and created jobs. All it took was one good leader ie trump from the worst generation (yes boomers) to show what were capable of. Ps if were bitchin about generations instead of individuals the karens are genX
A generation is at its most powerful, politically and economically, when its members are approximately between the ages 40 to 70 .... and what do you know, the last 30 years have been an absolute shit-show for Western countries.
I don't care for this crude inter-generational blame game, but if anyone wants to start it, there's no way Millennials come out the guilty party.
Eat a dick boomer faggot, just sit back and enjoy your beer and sportsball while we fix this mess that we had to grow up in. If I had a kid and he grew up to be some asshat antifa faggot then I would have nobody to blame except myself. Instead you dumb fucks blame everybody except yourself because for some retarded reason you think that society should raise your children for you.
Oh please. Those Boomers are as culpable as anybody. Their generation took an amazing nation and ran it into a debt-ridden ditch in the space of five decades.
I mean the hippies were not millennials ya know? We’re all guilty of this.
The difference is that the Boomer generation were given the opportunity to mortgage their country's future, and they took it with glee. Millennials will get no such chance to be so guilty, as there will be nothing left to sell.
Millennials are just younger clones of Boomers.
Look at the reaction to the CARES Act and the recent "stimulus" passed. EVERYONE is clamoring for their gibs, Millennial, Boomers, Gen X, Zoomers. They're all the same and they all want free shit, damned be the consequences.
I'm turning my stimmy into silver and gold, they can't Rob my kids of their prosperity.
In guessing with 99% certainty that you’re a millennial?
I.e the guy in the stroller mad that his parents didn’t push hard enough and made things so hard on him?
Closer analogy is the parents buckled him in and pushed it over a cliff and are now mocking him for being strapped to a stroller
I'm not the guy you were responding to and I can only speak for myself and from my own experiences, but I am a millennial with boomer parents, and this gave me some pause in order to introspect.

Spot on, thank you sir.
Will this wave of scum wash away like the hippies did?
Once there is another incident like the Manson Family murders. Of course the news actually has to report on it.
At least there’s an Awakening for us ALL. Enuf of the generational division already!!! Us Boomers didn’t have Rush or ANYONE else but msm to lull us to sleep. Thank you, sir. Indeed, there is good and bad in every generation - age being the characteristic that least defines / divides us.

These kinds of accusations kill me. How does a generation that spans 20 years get blamed for 50 years?
I can't believe there are people who didn't have the internet even in high school considered to be the same generation that logged on in grammar school.
Granted, the generations before the Boomers have much to answer for too.
We are paying for the sins of the generation that ran our society right into WW1 and greatly expanded the government in all the western Republic.

Those wars got us here... 👏 what a good shot man.

It's funny how GenX gets forgotten.
Your point is my point. There’s good and bad in all generations. Boomers went to Vietnam and Desert Storm. Who did they blame?
A generation is at its most powerful, politically and economically, when its members are approximately between the ages 40 to 70 .... and what do you know, the last 30 years have been an absolute shit-show for Western countries.
I don't care for this crude inter-generational blame game, but if anyone wants to start it, there's no way Millennials come out the guilty party.
Millennials are 25-40 years old right now. You’re claiming they don’t have the reigns and can’t be defined?
Half the boomers are retired and buying depends.
Eat a dick boomer faggot, just sit back and enjoy your beer and sportsball while we fix this mess that we had to grow up in. If I had a kid and he grew up to be some asshat antifa faggot then I would have nobody to blame except myself. I’m a millennial. The fact you assume I’m a boomer proves my point that 99% of millennials blame everyone else for their situation.
Personal responsibility - the world is what we make it.
The cutoff for Gen X to Millennial is anywhere from '77 to '86, I'm pretty sure more than a few of us remember what it was like in our 20s.
I’m a millennial as well according to those definitions. But you know as well as I do, the ones born later in the 80s are a different bread.
There’s exceptions but as a whole, things are very different. I blame the emo kids never being told no.
The American of 20 years ago is not that different from today anyways. Clinton? Bush? Patriot Act? TSA? Phony foreign wars? Overheating tech stocks?
Yes, most Millennials can remember being there. But who was voting for that shit?
