Oh please. Those Boomers are as culpable as anybody. Their generation took an amazing nation and ran it into a debt-ridden ditch in the space of five decades.

An old lower middle class/working poor Boomer here to tell you that "hippies" were the 8% of the US boomer population born with a platinum spoon in their ass and attending institutions of higher indoctrination in the late 1960s and early 1970s. There were a goodly amount of wannabes (camp followers), but hippies came from money and didn't need to work for a living. I joined the Marine Corps at age 17 in June of 1971 with a lottery draft number of 356. The Marines were the only branch of service that offered me a two year hitch. The others, four. And yes, these rich sanctimonious social justice warrior hippies precipitated the dystopia and dysfunctional generations that We the People suffer today.
