I remember when my Dad (Navy, 1956) told me his boot camp stories...then I went Army (1984) and some of the 56' Navy was way tougher than mine,( I never duck walked a 1/4 mile with a rifle on my shoulders, yikes, gives me a backache just thinking about it) but the Drills still had their hands all over us, and then my sister joins the Marines (2000) she told me what she did on Parris Island, I was in shock at how easy it was by comparison (she said the Drills weren't "allowed" to touch them🙄)...and now I don't even know what to think ...🤡🌎
