I don't get this bullshit anymore. I did some research and the actual recorded number of trans individuals in the U.S. is less than .5%. So why the fuck our damn colleges and public school system flood trans-rights bullshit for a small fraction of our population? Who the hell is pushing this agenda and why?
Their goal is to pump those numbers up. They believe those are rookie numbers. College is a way to make young people dependent on the government due to high debt and indoctrination. I was definitely swayed towards Bernie as soon as I graduated from college. I didn't major in some silly fine arts but I still rarely was exposed to any conservative opinions. I trusted our government and I thought our agencies were respectable. Trump woke my ass up.
In my fucking literature class when I first went me and other recent high school grads were basically slammed with a message of how we should be offended because boomers hate us and think we're lazy which started my whole process of being done with this subversive bullshit. Wanting me to be offended over something nobody has ever told me for any reason? No thanks.

I worked as an RA, and it was always one or to usual subjects with stupid "woke" ideas who'd push and push and push, and people would give in just to shut them up. Granted, that was before most of this lunacy started, but I bet the mechanics are the same. I also on't discount the sheer flood of "community workers", the same kind of stuff Obama did right out of college, that are all over campuses looking for 'flaws" they can exploit.

I remember bringing a swiss army knife to Middle School every day - in New York STATE, for crying out loud, in the 80s. We actually whittled with knives after school and the principal would sometimes walk by and see what we made. About age 12. By the time I was 20, my old school had "Zero Tolerance" for knives. They even gave a kid suspension for having a plastic butter knife.
Admins love Zero Tolerance/LGBTQ fascism, because they don't have to think or balance free speech with safe space or whatever. Anti LGBTQ? STAMP! Yer Out. Yet they collect the big bucks as if they are making tough decisions daily.
Also, and you may be partially right, because the entire job of the administration is to get the most attendees they can, I think this one issue isn't to attract new students - it's to placate one or two trans students they already have.
