My libertarian husband thinks like this. I’ve yet to have the “we need to homeschool” discussion, but I have straight up told him if he puts our baby in public school, I am going to be so far up the school’s ass they won’t be able to breathe without my permission.
I’m in the Bay. We get charged out the ass to support public schools with teachers that never stop complaining, and I would not send kids of mine within 100 yards of those schools. Even on math tests they’re pushing SJW bullshit. Kids would be better off unschooled than in our current schools.
One could read one book a month and come out better educated! And the dangers of being thrown into a closed environment with future hard criminals and degenerate teachers - scary stuff.
