We had our kid in public school but pulled her at the start of this year and put her in a small private school for exactly this. The public school kids are wearing masks and separated by plexiglass. The high school kids are in the classroom, but the teachers are teaching remotely from another room in the same building. Meanwhile our kids aren’t wearing masks, they shake their teacher’s hand every morning, they eat lunch together, and laugh and play like normal kids. It was the absolute best decision we ever made, and we re-enrolled for next year.
