Between the Q folks who still think the military is going to perform mass arrests and are communicating to us in secret code via Twitter posts, and the people who talk about our "based" military....why do so many think the military is on our side?
The military really started being transformed into a leftist social tool during the Obama regime. He cleaned house and purged all the brass with leftist ideologues.
When Trump got in, he increased funding for the military, but he never purged all those countless Obama appointees.
Now look where we are at....the military is posting SJWer bullshit all over Twitter, male soldiers are wearing high heels to "support women", sex change operations are being funded by our tax dollars at $200,000 a pop, troops having transgender celebrations, military leaders slamming conservatives who called out the mockery the left is making of the military, lowing standards for women who serve the same roles as men, etc.
The military has become one giant leftist welfare program and people would be shocked at how many SJWers have been enlisting the past several years.
The idea that the military is going to come to our rescue is laughable.
I do not, nor have I ever believed that the military is "on our side". I estimate that roughly a third of them will defect to join us once a civil war starts(this estimate is mirrored by one of Obama's attempts to predict the results of theoretically deposing the governor of Texas ten years ago). The rest aren't the ones who actually get things done in the military, or else were part of the problem and so would be opponents no matter what.

Actually, the Founders were banking on We The People to preserve freedom and stop the eventuality which would become a fully corrupt government, which is why they gave us the 2nd Amendment.

Heres a big thing i realized a little while ago: cops and military members represent force and violence by the state. They have that monopoly on force, on the ability to interfere in other peoples lives, which in general conservatives try to stay away from. Conservatives respect the rule of law and defending the country, and i think we've messed up by equating people wearing those uniforms to being good. In general, they will just follow orders and follow pensions.
Once conservatives realize that en masse, i think there'll be a huge difference in things. All this back the blue, and support our troops stuff really doesnt mean anything to those cops n servicemembers, its just free shit and unearned respect to them. They'll still violate your rights due to any little thing.
I see a problem with the higher ups in the military, basically the political positions.
There aer some bad enlisted men and women, but most aren't. But they can't stand up to their CO and call them out without being court martialed.
