Honestly any immigration should have strict criteria such as being healthy and able to provide for yourself, a willingness to actually learn English, and a desire to assimilate with American culture. I am sick of this “culturally diverse” bullshit. Being American is a way of life, its a culture, its what makes us better than everyone. And if immigrants want to bring their third world assbackwards bullshit here, well they can fuck right off. And much of my family were immigrants who came here in the early to mid 20th century and guess what? They all learned to speak English within months of arriving here, they provided for themselves, they went through the medical screening at Ellis Island, they went about it the right way and embraced the American lifestyle unlike so many who come here today and expect us to cater to them and their demands.
