Atheist organizations used to be necessary pushback against the excesses of the religious right, during the satanic panic, but now that the religious right isn’t the force it used to be, they’re like a bull in a china shop. Their power now runs unchecked.
This is also coming from the Freedom From Religion Foundation, and they tend to be dicks. We’re not all like this. As an atheist I’d much rather be surrounded by people saying “Amen” than “Allah Ackbar.”

if i didnt find excessive labeling pointless id honestly want to have distinctions between these annoyances that actively hate religion and those that just grew away from it on their own
